I am reading a great, though often criticized book. It's The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls. I feel I relate to it in the way she can express herself and the way she does that block writing style. It's not my bible, but it's definitely awe-spiring.
So now I am back to becomming a Motorola owner, again. I had to upgrade my phone from a Samsung Trace (T519) to a Motorola Razr V3t --- T-mobile's upgrade of the V3 series. I know Razrs have been shoved down our throats since almost the beginning of time, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do and I did. & don't think Mr. Moto is going to stop anytime soon, they have a whole new slew of them coming out this year. I like the new designs, but they are even slimmer so who knows what issues this batch is going to have. Anyway, enough boring geek speak.
Today I will be travelling to St Pete with my boyfriend. I have 2 whole days of sun, pool and beach. & maybe even one of those ghost tours where they take you to the most haunted places. I ain't 'fraid of no ghost! Ok, I would be if I met one, but still. The paranormal is real, not all souls find their path, especially the brutally murdered.
As you can tell with this post, I am trying to delay work as long as possible. Haha. Shower now! Ciao.
I am a current user of the birthcontrol called Nuvaring and because of this I signed myself up for their general news letter and one article particularly interested me and it's quite an interesting read. Original Article.
But with all intense and purpose, I question it in a way. One of the causes of Job Burnout is working in a career field that ou didn't forsee yourself doing. Now this article claims it can get you back to enjoying your job, but how can you enjoy something you truly wouldn't have signed up for otherwise. Desperate times call for desperate measures especially in the corporate world of America. Who knows, maybe my burnout isn't curable.
That's what I need. Bottle that baby up and sell it to me -- for a discounted price, of couse. So far my life has been consumed by work, stress and money. With a mix of social and demanding events. & it's not going to lighten up anytime soon.
I have to eat now. Jot this down to be the best first post on a belated blog ever.
